Great article/interview. Brannon is the fucking man. Three bands that are all different and all kick serious ass.

that was a great read.
funny sidenote, in high school, this one dude in my print shop class who coincidentally was friends with Gavin pulled out a Negative Approach tape and says "can't tell noone". I didn't get it, and thought there was some secret going on or something.

This is that article I mentioned in that recent thread where we were discussing NA. I couldn't remember where the hell I found it, so it's cool to see it up here again. Any of you guys picked up the two books that just came out about the old Detroit Scene? I've got Why Be Something That You're Not and it looks amazing, still waiting on my copy of the Touch & Go book to come in the mail.

I haven't checked out those books yet, but I definitely plan on it soon. I've been on a Laughing Hyenas kick since I read the article earlier. Thae Crawl e.p. blows me away every time I listen to it.

even the video still is awesome.
how many dudes in their 40s that would otherwise look completely normal (meaning, no wild haircuts, tattoos, etc), are that intense looking?

JawnDiablo - 7-7-2010 at 10:24 PM
