I'd love to have one of those. I've looked forever trying to find one of 1942: The Battle of Midway. I used to know a guy that had one and I played it like crazy.

lifeisabitch - 7-22-2010 at 11:03 PM

my good friend bought them cheap and restored the cabinets and then put them in a few small privately owned pizza joints....
made enough money to quit his day job....

Very nice! You don't see too many of the sit down ones anymore. A pizza joint around here had a sit down Arkanoid one a few years back.

Jason the Magnificent - 7-23-2010 at 07:05 AM

That's pretty sweet...but trumped by your flooring. My grandparents had that same tile in their kitchen and my grandmother was an Atari madwoman...she'd have been all over that.

its like 90% OG.

The Monitor is OG and the color is still pretty damn good!
The glass top was replaced about 15 years ago, but was pro cut and is pretty much flawless.

It was originally a Pac-Man machine (like most Ms Pac-Man machines were). The Ms. Pac-Man board was modded so that it plays faster (and is more fun) but you can still play it at the original speed too if you want.

it was $450 from a guy I work with. I think he could have gotten $700+ for it online but he was happy to sell it to someone he knows.

*technically its my dads. he bought it, but hes working in Texas (and will be till at least the end of the year) so I had to pick it up and keep it here. I might not cash his check since I paid for it with my money and just keep it cause its pretty damn cool though!!!
