Ive never seen family guy and for some reason I think I wouldnt find it terribly funny if I did watch it.

speaking of cartoons that arent funny, King of the Hill is fucking terrible. Ive never ONCE laughed at anything on that show. Maybe I just dont get it.

i didn't like family guy the first few times i saw it, but i came around. it might be funnier than the simpsons; some of things that happen on that show are just so obscure and hilarious.

I was the same way, when it first came out I figured it was a Simpsons rip off, but now I love it. Before I moved and left behind my high speed connection I was downloading episodes online. "Soulseek, it's not just for porn anymore!"

Sounds like maybe you just don't get humor. I can't imagine anybody not seeing the humor in either of those shows. King Of The Hill hits closer to home since I've known people like the characters on the show my whole life and it's more like a regular sit com than a cartoon to me.

I find a lot of people on these boards are younger and have no knowledge of cool older stuff. From another post I think your stated age was older then me and I've been out of high school for 10 years. Plus no MTV in the Great White North.

Family Guy is amazingly funny. I got all the DVD's and have seen them all on TV many times yet every night I still watch the reruns on Comedy Network.
I've been getting into Futurama a lot in the last 2 months now too, that show is also funny but Family Guy is the best animated series going.

. king of the hill is not that great but occasionally very funny and futurama ive never taken to at all. seen probably about 10 of em and just doesnt do it for me.

this show is pretty accurate, except for the simple fact that I have never see 4 white guys having beers in the back of the house it's always Hispanics... nothing against them just stating a serious flaw in the show.... is there are almost no Hispanics.... when they make up the majority from Dallas south.....

Speaking of that.. they've been showing pee wee's playhouse on adult swim the past 2 weeks. I never realized how weird that show really was.

My wife has a few episodes on video, hows that for punk, and old. Now, which was your favorite? Mine was the one where they were on the train and Vivian's (the punk rocker with the stars in his forehead) head gets lopped off by the railway sign. Also the one where Rick takes all the laxatives and proceeds to shit himself continuously. Then theres the one where Neals clothes come to life and attack them in the apartment. That show is just so bizarre... part of Paul Rueben's problem is that he grew up in the town in Florida where Barnum and Bailey's stayed in their off touring seasons. Weird childhood.

family guys is hilarious,
i can watch it over and over and laugh at different shit each time.

the youngs ones was an awesome show as well,
i have the them on vhs, but i also bought the dvd set.
great musical guest on there too,
motorhead doing ace of spades in their living room
& madness was on there a couple times.

then there is pee wee, another childhood favorite.
i just read that he might being doing a new pee wee herman movie.
