I'll start by saying, that if you missed this one you mssed a good one.
It had been 14 years since Sheer Terror played in Philly.
Having seen them a bunch of times over the years, and owning a shitload of old shows on DVDs, i'm going to say that last night might be the best one
I've seen yet. Paul's new lineup was tight as hell and sounded excellent.
They were on stage for nearly 2 hours and Paul, you are one funny guy. One laugh I got was this kid in a flat brim hat looked at me and kinda
whispered, "what's stormwatch?" when you were flapping about that whole thing.
I saw the guy I usually see at shows with a camera so I am assuming that last night might pop up on www.hate5six.com eventually.

I think I may have gotten to the age where I'm gonna stay at the sidelines and just watch shows, but in this case there was nothing like being up
front center stage. I mean it's Sheer Terror for crisakes! I got the living shit kicked out of me and have the cuts and bruises to show for it this
morning.
Not for nothing but after a while I just wanna punch every jerk whos either using my skull as a means to climb on or a soccer ball while stage diving,
but like I said, I'm old. I hate kids. Sorry.
Ran into BD, Thorp, The Dog, Honus, Necrobutcher and a couple dudes from the Bad Vibes.
If I'm able to get tix for that other show in November, then damn right I'll be there.
Paul, thanks for giving us all a chance to hear you playing these songs again.
I'm going back to fuckin bed now. My girl is draggin me out to another show tonight at Johnny Brenda's and thank god it isn't a full contact sport.

The show was fucking great. It kicked 18 kinds of ass with more ass lined up around the corner waiting to get kicked. Sound was on point and Paul was
awesome. The banter between songs was fucking tits and he echoed a few of my sentiments regarding hardcore in this day and age.
I'm also happy I got to meet Juan Diablo and Honus Wagner. BD, I didn't want to interrupt your conversation with the Dead City Records merch guy.
I am feeling the toll of the evening. I have a shoe print on my forehead and chipped a little bit of my tooth of thanks to a stage dive. I can't be
too pissed as I was up front.
