"Distributors/Wholesalers have donated more than $2.2 million to House members, including $922,000 to lawmakers who signed on to the bill as sponsors, according to the Center for Responsive Politics.

The National Beer Wholesalers Association made contributions to at least 53 of the bill’s co-sponsors within one day to 30 days of the lawmakers’ signing on."

Sounds like bad news for all the beer lovers out there.

THis is similar to the reason we can't get YUENGLING in Ohio. Something to do with some distribution law or agreement between beer companies and whatever. THe weird thing is we can get STRAUB BEER so I am happy.

If I stopped being able to get Stone out here I'd be livid.

The weird thing is that its distributors and wholesalers who are pushing for it. The big beer producers like Anheuser Busch are completely against it.

AB's sales are already down...last thing they want is more taxes putting less money in their pockets.

i dunno, we have it pretty good beer wise around Philly.
everything and more seems to be available all the time.

In Philly is Yeungling easy to get? I guess is it one of your most proud of if that makes any sense. Do you drink it a lot because I sure would if I lived in PA.
