I highly doubt it. The hangover trailer was funny and was about 5% of what was great in the movie. This is one dude I have faith in Hollywood-wise.

Yeah he said he wanted to do a movie in the spirit of planes trains and automobiles so it's not like he's trying to get one over. I'll take it. Dude is the only person directing solid comedies anymore.

Plus...Danny FUCKING McBride.

Saw this last week, while there were some REALLY funny parts, I'd associate it more w/ Old School than Hangover as far as this dudes movies. Not a classic...nor a rush to the theater movie, but a rock solid renter when the time comes and you need a laugh.

Just seemed like the story was kind of there to facilitate wacky stuff between Galifinakis and Downey...it's didn't have the rhythm and flow of Hangover...kind of like Planes, Trains and Automobiles meets Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Seems like my hunch was right. Seems like exactly what I was thinking.

The descriptions of "planes, trains, and automobiles meets fear and loathing in las vegas" was enough to get me interested.

Best use of a Pink Floyd song in a movie...ever.

good to know. we don't get out to the movies much, and i don't want to pay the sitter for something not worthwhile. comedies aren't usually must see on the big screen, anyway. definitely going to see the nest harry potter, though!
