It's ok if you like the last one at all. It's really really formulaic.

Slower acoustic intro/spoken vocal intro...then 2-3 minutes of meandering verses leading to semi-epic riffs and choruses to close out the final 3rd of the songs...rinse repeat. Not a single song that's a banger right from the start.

Skip it and buy the new Accept with dude from TT Quick singing...that's got some killer tunes on it.

I haven't bought a new Maiden disc in many years...but I do love their first 5 albums.

Does nothing for me and every song on the album is like two hours long.

BKT.

That's my main problem with this incarnation of the band...it feels like something is there...but it's so deeply hidden in ridiculously long paint by numbers songs. The past 2 albums, every song is like 8 minutes long and follows the exact same structure as the last. It's like someone is hold them at gunpoint making them be mediocre.
