Perfect!

tireironsaint - 8-27-2010 at 10:06 AM

Wow, that is a blatant rip. I'd never heard that before, but there's no denying they lifted the whole thing.

Dave - 8-27-2010 at 10:30 AM

i never heard that before either, crazy.

mike_ - 8-27-2010 at 10:44 AM

Yeah, that's a crazy one.

There used to be a website called http://www.thecopycat.biz/ that tracked supposed examples of musical plagiarism. A lot of mainstream artists, but a lot of punk stuff too. It's gone now, anyone seen it too?

as far as rips go, I don't think I'd make a deal of it unless it was somebody making big money off it.
I doubt the Last Resort ever made a dime off their music.
I think it is kind of cool now that it's been pointed out to me.

awesome
and who cares if they stole it....everybody steals everything from everyone

Discipline - 8-27-2010 at 12:49 PM

People steal all the time, but if a song becomes your signature hit, you might want to mention it's a cover.

Great White
John Thoroughgood
Quiet Riot

Even if you're right, it's a hell of a lot funnier and ironic to think about No Remorse covering Elton John.

lifeisabitch - 8-27-2010 at 09:14 PM

Led Zepplin gets into more and more shit every year over all the shit they stole...
They have paid millions to some of those blues artists but it's still not enough
Fuck LZ

Truth. If there was one band to wipe out of historical record I would vote for those overhyped conjobs right there. Fuck Led Zepplin in the neck.
