Don't really think its stupid. She understands what ethnicity is and knows tan is not an ethnicity. I always put dumb answers for questions like that
on non job related stuff. And if your a Guido looking for a job at a skin cancer factory, they might even get a chuckle out of an answer like that.
I'm not white I'm tan is just the upper middle class version of Rob Lind's whole white trash thing, its just not an idea that most of us here can

Hate the ideas not the people or some shit like that. If the situation can get 60k an episode and a 6 figure book deal does that make him a terrible
person? The values and beliefs of society allow him the opportunity.
