Have you deleted someone that you know and continue to see in 'real life' from your facebook 'friends'?
My friends wife is not a bad person, but she posts so much ultra positive thinking family love spiritual kindness bullshit that I'm just tired of
seeing it.
I guess I could just 'hide' her posts... maybe I'll do that.

yeah if you like her in real life, just hide her.gavin - 12-16-2010 at 11:18 AM

and i have deleted people i just couldnt take anymore XHonusWagnerX - 12-16-2010 at 11:22 AM
when you hide them you just dont see anything they post?
I guess cant realy say that I 'like' her cause shes kind of annoying, but I know that
if I delete her and she notices it will cause hard feelings that I dont wanna deal with.Vanilla Gorilla - 12-16-2010 at 11:49 AM
Yeah just click the x on the right when the post next time it will give you an option to hide their posts so you don't see them.
hiding them is probably the way to go, I work with a guy who has some common friends he's not a bad guy, i dont really like him that much, but he just
has horrible likes and posts. Guys is a fucking square and posts Aaron Lewis and Staind stuff all the time. I swear at one point he posted some
differnt Aaron Lewis acoustic song for like 20 days in a rowtireironsaint - 12-16-2010 at 11:56 AM
I've deleted a couple people who posted religious crap on a daily basis, never knew how to hide their posts, but thanks to Vanilla's post I do now.Colin - 12-16-2010 at 03:51 PM
yeah, just hide them. 90% of anything worth reading/watching/listening I see on there comes from all you Thorp peoples I've never met. Half the
people I'm "friends" with on there who I actually know are people I don't really like or relate to in real liferandom - 12-16-2010 at 04:10 PM
This thread reminds me why I quit Facebook. The only people on there I gave a shit about are either (i) people I still see in real life or (ii) post
on here. Getting rid of Facebook and still talking to those people and posting here solved that problem.Six66Mike - 12-16-2010 at 05:19 PM
Deleted friends and annoying fuck in-laws.morgan - 12-16-2010 at 05:51 PM
Theres a few people who post just way too much crap and I get sick of it cluttering up my newsfeed so I just block them. Once or twice a year I go
through and start deleting people I don't really care about having on there. Spoiler - 12-16-2010 at 07:37 PM
I wasn't aware that you could just " hide" peoples posts. I have deleted a couple of people who I see on a regular basis. It was 100% because of them
only playing farmville or mafia wars and those other shitty facebook games. Colin - 12-16-2010 at 08:36 PM
I wish I could block certain people from seeing shit I put on there. Sick of people telling me "not to be so negative"Vanilla Gorilla - 12-16-2010 at 08:49 PM

I think there is a way to do that so only people you want can see your news feed but i don't know how to that yetJawnDiablo - 12-16-2010 at 09:09 PM
I hate when I delete people for these reasons and they figure it out and refriend me...I feel bad for a minute.
now i just do the block thing.
I don't need many of them idiots anyway.
they're not cool like you peepsBDx13 - 12-17-2010 at 12:08 AM
colin, i think it has to do with setting up groups.
then, when you make your update, you can click on that little lock icon with the down arrow, and select which group can se the update.Colin - 12-17-2010 at 04:24 PM
ahhh...thanks. Now my relatives can stop worrying about mebulldog7633 - 12-17-2010 at 10:13 PM
Sadly some people take being friends with you on facebook and you deleting them a bit too personally. I've even had someone stop speaking to me all
together because of it. I'm not beat. gavin - 12-17-2010 at 11:52 PM
I kinda wish a lot of those people wild stop talkin to me
