I am compiling a list os the 15 best albums that came out in 2010 for Action Recon. Any type of music is welcome this is a wide ranged list for sure. I have my ideas, but want to make sure I don't miss anything.

SOIA- Based...
Terror- Keepers
Street Dogs- Street Dogs

SD wins it for me

Keepers of the Faith.

The Keepers update is killing the respect I had for Terror. It's like THE OSBORNS show did for Ozzy. I really wanted to know about that dude until I found out about who he actually was. Fucking sucks because the music rules, but I hate where it originated from.

Whatever no ones perfect and all that, but the Terror cd is somewhat unlistenable for me anymore. Or maybe I just rocked it out too much who knows.

The new STREET DOGS is great!

In no particular order

SOIA
Starkweather
Kings of Nuthin
Hank 3
Black Anvil

I'm sure there's more but I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

spyderdog - 12-22-2010 at 03:03 AM

in this order.....

donnybrook - beast inside
ghost inside - returners
terror - keepers of the faith
my turn to win - no challenge
first blood - silence is betrayal

that album wasn't bad, but he admitted himself he wasn't gonna put any of his best songs on it. I expect the next one to be really good, he's finally done with Curb Records & can do as he pleases.

Otherwise, the OFF! First 4 EP's is top of my list. The only albums of 2010 I think I bought this year was the above two, the newest & final Johnny Cash album, & I was given a copy of the new Black Keys album, all pretty good

Not Hank's best but still far better than most of the crap that gets put out.

Knigs Of Nuthin' - Old Habits Die Hard
OFF! - First 4 EPs
The Cute Lepers - Smart Accessories
Modern Action - Molotov Solution
Nick Curran & The Lowlifes - Reform School Girl. Seriously, anybody who likes classic Rock & Roll amped up past ten should definitely pick this album up. This album goes great with the new Kings Of Nuthin' record and I think it'd be mind blowing to see the two bands together.

Those are all the full lengths coming to mind right now. I'm surprised so many of you guys are so hyped on the new Street Dogs, I like it, but feel like it's their weakest record so far. Also, that new Hank III album was boring. None of the songs held my attention and it's the first album of his that I never bothered to buy (aside from the Assjack stuff which doesn't do much for me). I really hope his next one is good enough to make up for it.

they play a few songs, including the title track, off that album on the Underground Garage station at work, I've been really digging it
