"This ass whoopin' ain't gonna be fake!"

Proud man teaching his nephew some sense. I love that he gives the kid some old fashioned reprimanding, then makes him post it to facebook. Genius.

"Now put that on this fuckin' wall!"

a good friend of mine had his ass beat regularly by his dad. when your own father kicks your ass on the regular, it takes away any fear you have of getting into fights. he became an accomplished ass beater, prominent gang member, meth addict and a felon. he's turned everything around now, but freely admits that his dad's beatings screwed up his perspective on life growing up.

imo, if you have to beat your kids, you're doing something wrong in the first place.

JawnDiablo - 1-6-2011 at 08:36 PM

somehow I don't think my kid even knows how to get into trouble.
I've been real lucky like that.
But I'd rather burn myself with cigarettes than lay a hand on him.
My old man was a big Irish dude who on occasion gave me a smack down, which i know I deserved, and he knew no other way to deal.
cut to the end, 36 years old and I am still a little afraid of him. not the ideal in my opinion.

I'm in agreement with Mr Bad Vibes on this one.

Now that kid is gonna go out and do some real gangster shit. Thanks Domestic Abuse Uncle.

Colin - 1-7-2011 at 06:21 PM

that video made my day. As far as ass beatings, I used to get a belt or a wooden spoon taken to me whenever I really deserved it, but not all that often. Generally for putting myself in some sort of danger. I learned my lessons, or just made sure not to get caught again. To me an ass beating is hitting your kid in the face or something, what was seen here is a whoopin'

gavin - 1-7-2011 at 08:31 PM

Teaching kids and young people anything through fear, intimidation,or pain is lazy parenting and these people should be held accountable...maybe this kid is acting like an asshole because of the role model he has at home, quick to get a belt and teach through that....Fuck that...Fuck him...end Fuck anyone who disagrees...for real

JawnDiablo - 1-7-2011 at 09:04 PM

word to Gavin

Colin - 1-8-2011 at 06:41 PM

I'll take the advice from an actual parent, though I've seen kids raised in both sides of the spectrum turn out either great or horrible, it does depend a lot more on the parenting, but I will definitely agree that the whoopin' going on in this video probably only had a more negative effect....as far as what spyderdog said, one thing for sure I believe is that most kids these days could use a lot more discipline

Discipline - 1-8-2011 at 07:34 PM

I don't see anything wrong with spanking a kid if they do something REALLY bad. You learn from it. I wasn't spanked many times as a kid, but when I was I knew I deserved it. It can be a valuable tool for kids to learn from, as long as it isn't overly brutal.

yeah, to each parent their own, but I see a big difference between beating your kids & spanking them. But honestly, props to anyone who has learned how to teach their kid a lesson without hitting them, I've got a lot of respect for that, & the world will be a much better place if more parents were as good as some of you folks

gavin - 1-8-2011 at 08:29 PM

The only thing I care about is my kids and being a parent...that's it...nothing else really matters but that....hitting is doing the patent job half assed....it may be a tool...but one that I have no interest in using...I take the time and solve the issue other ways...because that's all that matters to me...raising my life with love and understanding and compassion...not threats of hitting it intimidation...or them learning through fear...I'm not interested in that

Colin - 1-8-2011 at 08:44 PM

well said. gavin I guess I've seen problems with too many people who don't believe in corporal punishment yet don't instill any discipline at all, & their kids are not only assholes, but treat their parents like shit. But folks like all you who have kids, like I said, much respect & while I don't know any of you on here, from what I see you are all some of the best parents I've seen. For real

I was raised the same way.
