How is this dude an idiot and someone like Jason Jessee not? At the very least Hosoi is trying to make a positive difference and willing to change for the better. Jessee is doing nothing productive.

there's no reason to talk for me to talk down Hosoi, people generally find some sort of crutch to lean on when they clean up from not being able to handle drugs, whether it's coffee & cigs or religion, to each their own, but Jason Jessee? Not down with JC myself, but fuck it, if that's what's gonna keep him clean and sober, then more power to him. I do agree that it's hard to feel sympathy for someone who is on top of the world and then loses it all to the party lifestyle. But he hit rock bottom, did his time, and pulled himself out. Can we say the same thing about the Hollywood celebs who have been to rehab multiple times and still can't get their shit together?
