This shit is going to be amazing. I am bummed I canceled my Showtime....might have to re-order it just for this.

I am picking Barnett to win the tournament....although all the fights/possiblities are pretty interesting.

I'm just gonna watch the recent Bruins/Habs game tonight instead, I hear that will give me my fill of fighting :D

Unbelievable! Seriously... Antionio Silva pounds the shit outta Fedor in the second round, eye swells shut, ref stops the fight. Then Fedor suggests he may be retiring!

BD...I am due a big fight night....I'll keep you in the loop.

I watched the Fedor/Silva fight on Youtube.

I wanted Fedor to come out in the 3rd so badly but I knew the doctors wouldn't allow it. They would have let him go if the fight was in Japan.

The fight agression ruled in this match. Silva looked to be in a great shape and his boxing ability has improved tremendously since his first fight in Strikeforce.....plus, he's a fucking giant, dude. He made Fedor look so tiny. Fedor has experience grappling with big dudes (watch the Hong Man Choi fight).....but Silva ain't no Hong Man....he knows his way around on the ground and easily took the mount.

That was one hell of a night for fight fans. Those were some of the best fights I have seen in a long time. And how about Sergie? Holy shit that guy is a killer, always has been and its nice to see him getting some love now.

Fedor showed the heart of ten lions. For him to not give up is incredible and if he was allowed to he would have come out guns blazing in the 3rd round. That being said Silva is a beast and my hats off to him on a well fought bout. Check out the wrap up on Action Recon, it does not look like Fedor is going to retire.

BKT, thanks for the link....cool that you post/blog that stuff.

Just as Allistair said, the third round would have been amazing.....Fedor was definatley NOT giving up.

Kharitonov has stayed very active this year....not a shocker he handed out an ass whipping.
