Am I the only one that thinks a tattoo convention doesn't need people hanging themselves from meat hooks and slip and slides and other assorted nonsense? Not that I don't approve of boobs, but almost none of the pics were of actual tattoos, and a lot of the ones I did see were garbage. I didn't get tattooed over the years to be "extreme", I got them because I always loved tattoos.

never understood the meat hooks, never will. & as far as boobs & shitty tats....you see so much of that in the magazines, but I still can't understand why so many magazines have pictures of hairy ass dudes with embarrassingly bad tattoo work+ideas.

I think that the awards are kind of funny. Like I think that I have a couple of tattoos that could win prizes (my Strangers in Paradise and my Leatherface) but if I went and entered, I could potentially win a prize for something that I just 'bought'.
