i lost about 80 hours worth of work today when a failed network connection occured while i was updating a file on my server. instead of the server
saving what was actually in the file, it saved a blank document, effectively deleting my 600+ lines of code. sweet. the vicitm? www.sheerterrordvd.com

That hurts. I suggest you put on something soft and feminine, (music, not clothes), and cry yourself to sleep. I can't even imagine what that must
have felt like. I cry when I accidentally delete an email.

you know, i was bummed, but even at the time, i wasn't THAT bummed. no freaking out and punching the air or anything. after i got over the 'oh
fuck's and 'did that just happen's, i thought, "oh well. nothing to do about this." what can i do? i fucked up. it's funny how life experiences
put things in perspective.

i'm tend to get pretty cocky and work right on the server. so no, it's not like i had a local file that i edited, then uploaded to test. however, i
do think i found a copy of the rendered page in the browser's cache folder. i'll have to redo some of the php logic, but all of the css structure is
in tact. probably only needs another 10 or 12 hours of attention now! yeah!

Duane, It's always easier the 2nd time around.
I remember back in my East High School days I was taking a computer class. I was working on some project after school and some wench turned my
computer off on me and then said something dumb like "were you using that". Man I was pissed. So I ended up having to redo the whole thing because I

I was a wuss about the whole thing! I think I ended up coming in during home room and lunch the following day.
