Horror Business closed. You can cross that off the list.

Try walking the Freedom Trail if it's nice out.

I heard of a good show on the 19th :)

I am so bad with the tourist things. Been here since before they existed, but NEVER have taken a Duck Tour

MattyA - 3-9-2011 at 11:15 AM

Everyone says the Duck Tours are good, but like Shawn, have lived here my whole life and have never gone on it. There's a bunch of stuff around Boston to do, Science museum, museum of fine arts, aquarium, faneuil hall marketplace, Boston Commons.

panzerkreuzer - 3-9-2011 at 11:19 AM

thanks so far.
the duck tour isn´t that important. most inportant are recordshops and shops where i can get sport shoes and dickies stuff for small money...

panzerkreuzer - 3-9-2011 at 11:23 AM

ah, and does the new england revolution have a store in the city where i can buy a jersey of them?

Johnny_Whistle - 3-9-2011 at 11:27 AM

I don't think the Revs have a store, but there are definitely places around town that sell sports team jerseys. I'm sure you can find one, probably at Quincy Market.

And I actually did do a Duck Tour once. Honestly, it's pretty fun.

i must say i like that sightseeing stuff. watching old houses, visiting museums, going into lots of pubs to check the local brews. it can be exciting....

Planet Records

Check out Planet Records in Harvard Square.

You can go down to Gillette Stadium where the Revs play, they have a pro shop. It should be stocked with Revs gear, seeing the season is going to start in a couple of weeks.

Furly - 3-9-2011 at 12:23 PM

It's a little out of your way, but I recommend heading to Salem MA for an afternoon. Shit ton of history there.

I will not be going to the show for personal reasons, but if you want to meet up for some grub at some point I'm down! Just let me know when.

XHonusWagnerX - 3-9-2011 at 12:32 PM

Salem is good (like Furly said)

Gillette Stadium is kinda cool you can see some Patriots (American) Football stuff in their museum, there are some other stores and shops (non football related) and that might be your best bet for finding a Revs Jersey too. The Bass Pro Shop over there is something to see too. CRAZY HUGE store!!

Armageddon in Boston is pretty awesome.

I'm not sure where to buy stuff like Vans & Dickies though.

SS76 - 3-9-2011 at 03:18 PM

Any Newbury Comics stores....cds, records, action figures, shirts, etc.
Boston Museum of Science
Bass Pro shop is awesome; life size whale hanging from the ceiling.

XnMeX - 3-9-2011 at 05:50 PM

They actually sell Dickies stuff at Walmart here in the states so that might be your best bet price wise.

panzerkreuzer - 3-9-2011 at 05:55 PM

that´s cool.
thanks to all for there tips.
i checked this Bass Pro shop. it looks really awesome. when i can reach it by public currency, i will visit it.

MattyA - 3-9-2011 at 06:17 PM

They sell dickies at work'n'gear. They have a bunch of stores around the Boston area. And like Furly said Salem has a lot of cool stuff up there history wise.

panzerkreuzer - 3-15-2011 at 11:09 AM
