Theres a new show on the Travel Channel on Wednesday nights called 'DEATHWISH MOVERS'. Its a 'reality' show about the Deathwish Piano Movers company
in Boston, but they move more than pianos. Anything thats big, heavy and in a tight space is their specialty.
The best part about the show is that Keith Bennett (Wrecking Crew, Bitter, Panzerbastard) works there and after seeing 1 episode hes easily the 'star'
of the show.
Everyone should watch it and spread the word so it gets another season!
The guys joke that they aren't friends because they work together -- they work together because they are friends.
As the tattoo-laden new guy, Keith is easy to rib and often on the receiving end of the taser. Keith is another Deathwish musician who can be found
around town playing with his death metal band.

so is it the new thing that in order to have one of those shows like say this one and any show where youre building cars, shooting off guns, that it
is mandatory to have the heavily tattooed guy / guys working it?
do they think it makes it more entertaining?
I've just noticed it way more lately.
I mean I have plenty of ink, but is it somehting when they are throwing these things together that they prefer to cast lets say MS13 rejects over say
a Chip Foose looking guy?ShawnRefuse - 3-18-2011 at 10:02 AM
I think it's just that they are "alternative" shows and the people in them happen to be heavily tattoo'd Keith has worked at Deathwish for years, some
with the dude from "Sons of Gun". It wasn't casting. But I am sure it helped get them the deals for the shows.Vanilla Gorilla - 3-18-2011 at 10:10 AM
i watched the episode that was on the other night because i couldn't find anything else to watch. It was ok, but i wonder how interesting it can stay
i mean after a couple episodes of watching them move heavy stuff your probably gonna be like i have seen this all ready.
Like how the show House use to be great but then it was like a joke in every episode will they have to get spinal fluid or drill into the patients
brain.Jason the Magnificent - 3-18-2011 at 10:39 AM
People have been watching wet guys on boats empty crab baskets for years...JawnDiablo - 3-18-2011 at 11:12 AM
half of those shows are pretty uninteresting.
I enjoy watching people build a work of art motorcycle or car, but I can do without the stupid workplace / family dramas that get mixed in.
I can't stand those idiots on American Chopper. Steroid dad yelling at his son all damn day even though he's the real talent in his shop.
I can't stand that tattoo shop show either........never in my life did my tattoos provoke an emotional experience...shut the fuck up already.
I think I need to start working on my own show idea.
I need some fucking money

That is the problem with all the History / Travel / A7E / TLC "reality" shows coming out... A lot of these shows would make great 1 hour specials,
but a series? No. As soon as I saw the preview for this show I was thinking this.
Ice Road Truckers, Axe Men, Swamp People (or whatever the hells it's called), etc, etc...JawnDiablo - 3-18-2011 at 11:23 AM
even Gangland has gotten too repeatitive for my liking.
Ok I get it.
You sell drugs, tattoo your face with letters, and kill your rivals at all costs.

and does History / Discovery have to play the same fuckin show for 9 hours on end?
who sits and watches 9 hours of American Pickers?
Shit I remember when TLC was "the learning channel" and played semi educational shit.
now it is Octo-mom and horse shit like that.

every one of those shows is exactly the fuckin same, they just switch out the race to either black, hispanice, asian, biker etc. Vanilla Gorilla - 3-18-2011 at 01:19 PM
although i have seen a few episodes of Hard Time on national geographic and its pretty interesting but similar to most shows about prison, at least
they seem to do a better job of staying with certain prisoners not just switching around all the time.wesxedge - 3-20-2011 at 07:32 PM
Watched the preview and really just wanted to see what sorta shit he got into for the piano dropping. Aside from that, I'd most likely lose interest

Is this show like what a TV show the Hardcore Eviction Crew would be kinda like?
Anyone seen the Antonio Treatment on HGTV? They did Toby Morse's house on there once.
