BD iphone question

My contract is up in December where my wife and i can get new phones at verizon. Since the new 16 and 32 gb phones just came out how often do they usually come out with new models? Once a year or 2 times a year? I don't want to pay $199 for each phone and I am hoping they do something like at&t are doing with the 3g iphones. They are only $50 at at&t right now. Since I have to wait I want to plan ahead and get the best phone possible.

I'm not an expert, but it seems like a new iPhone comes out just about every year. So its possible that there will be a new one in the fall. The latest model does hold its value when the next one comes out though because people buy them to 'jailbreak' and use on other providers.

I got the iPhone 4 in December and sold my 3Gs for a profit!

If its every year that means that a new one wont be out until next March right? I think thats when this new one came out I believe right?

no the iPhone 4 definity came out last year because it had been out for awhile and I got it for my GF for Christmas.

the iPad 2 came out in March.

Ok. Maybe what I am thinking is the iphone began selling with verizon this march. Alright that is cool.

oh... you might be right about that Clevo, actually, I think you probably are, but I was just thinking in terms of Apple & AT&T, sorry about that.

I would assume that now that Verizon has the iPhone that the next model will be available immediatly when its released, but I dont know for sure

hard to say with verizon, since they JUST got the iphone.

apple has released a new version every year since '07 in late june or early july, so the iphone five is surely coming...but it's a little unclear if it will be coming to BOTH networks when it does. frankly, that's so close it's worth waiting to see.
