BDx13 - 8-30-2004 at 12:02 PM

I know there are a lot of Sheer Terror fans on this board, so in case you haven't already heard, here's the flyer.

I got two tickets for Sunday night. Anyone else going?

tireiron,
if you manage to find a jet would you be a good samaritan
and give me a lift to the show too?

i'll stand on the west coast of england and wave my fuckin' arms in the air so ya spot me. :D

maybe the thorp people should charter a jet for us all.

tireironsaint - 9-2-2004 at 08:01 PM

Hey sure, no problem. How's the day before the show around 6 sound to you? Or better yet, we go with your other idea, a chartered Thorp plane, that sounds good to me.

BDx13 - 9-2-2004 at 09:06 PM

that does sound like a good idea. can we expense it?

tireironsaint - 9-2-2004 at 09:24 PM

I would think that should be writtien off as some kind of charity function, don't you?

yeah, maybe we should start some kind of worldwide charity,

"NOISE FOR THE NEEDY"
we could take convoys of trucks into parts of the world suffering from "hardcore deprivation" and dish out loads of free thorp cd's, cd players, t-shirts and shit.
kind of like the band aid / ethiopia thing.:D

hey! any of you out of towners wanna make the trip, the ticket is yours.

tireironsaint - 9-3-2004 at 06:49 PM

Where should I go to meet that private Thorp jet? C'mon, it's the worthiest of worthy causes, I'm sure the IRS will write it off as an act of charity. I mean really, what's more worthy? Me or some starving kids?

Dylan knuckles - 9-3-2004 at 10:21 PM

fuck Id' love to go to that show

xDTYMx - 9-4-2004 at 12:28 PM

i plan on going to both shows... why they chose subzero to play with i dunno... but is buying a ticket in advance really needed???

BDx13 - 9-4-2004 at 03:36 PM

who all is playing these shows, does anyone know?

cbs & ticketweb said thet were selling a limited number of tickets. what exactly that means, i don't know, but if you go their site, saturday is available, sunday is not. i mean, it is sheer terror's first show in 8 years, and it's in NYC at liny-ass cbgb. my guess? if you don't have a ticket, it will be hard to get in.

xDTYMx - 9-4-2004 at 04:23 PM

well then i guess i'll get my liny-ass a ticket

moron - 9-4-2004 at 10:28 PM

my friend is getting married that weekend, so I most likely can't go. Saturday is definately out of the question, and Im guessing that Sunday isn't looking good either.

I know INHUMAN is playing the first show with SUBZERO. As for the second not sure. I heard MURPHY'S LAW was playing also.

tireironsaint - 9-4-2004 at 10:50 PM

Bridge9 says that Subzero and The Distance are playing, but I didn't notice which show.

Six66Mike - 9-4-2004 at 11:30 PM

Ok, here are the final lineups and dates for the SHEER TERROR shows @ CBGB's in NYC:
Sat 10/9 - The Distance, Sub Zero, Sheer Terror
Sun 10/10 - Inhuman, Murphy's Law, Sheer Terror
