Here in Dublin, its on Thomas St and its called the Thomas House.

Me and two mates took the lease on the place, its a music bar so we play punk, hardcore ,oi, ska, psychobilly, reggae and all that shit all day and all night.. We installed an old Wurlitzer jukebox and we have a pinball machine and an arcade cabinet coming in soon.

Anyone planning a trip to Dublin is more than welcome to a pint of the black stuff on me!

12.30 is the latest you can stay open in Ireland without paying for a late licence until 2.30 which cost 500 Euro a night. The bar is too small to make that in two hours so for the time being, come 12.30 regulars are invited to stay back for a while and some late drinks.

panzerkreuzer - 8-14-2011 at 10:56 AM

500 a night are a lot of pints to be sold. thatīs not worth it.

Best of luck. Bar looks awesome. And since it's now an authentic Irish punk bar, you should get Ken Casey to franchise the shit out of it in the US. :P

that's awesome. congratulations and best of luck, gar.

very cool man.

i have a bar in baltimore i frequent that's an irish pub. (i go there anough to be a part of thir APA pool team) and its got a jukebox FULL of punk/hardcore/oi... when people we dont like or others in general come in, we just play mushmouth / fury of five / anthrax / COC to get them to leave. works everytime.

This is a great spot. I don't know if anyone is from Ireland or is going to visit, but this is a great place to go for a friendly pint.
