Apple/mac computer question

clevohardcore - 11-8-2011 at 09:49 PM

Is there a system cleanup that should be periodically performed like you would with a regular PC? I remember having to do it but i haven't since owning my macbook. The wife is having trouble printing coupons from several internet sites and she seems to think this is what is causing it.

I guess its called defragmenting on a PC.

We print a lot of stuff, but for some reason when she prints certain coupons from internet it never does. It just looks like its going to, but never does.

printing doesn't really sound like a defragmenting issue...
regardless, you don't really need to macs.

post a link to the page you're trying unsuccessfully to print.

The wife said its this site.

http://www.coupons.com/

It's happened several times for different items.

ug, i've been on that site. it blows. they require you to install special software before you can print. basically, its not like you're just viewing a page on their site and printing it - they're using scrips to deliver the coupons securely so other sites don't jack their deals.

We keep getting a error stating this.

Error: /usr/libexec/cups/filter/CouponCo

This is the same site. The wife said we had no problem over the past year but as off a few weeks ago we can't print coupons at all. She can print them at work without a problem. Any ideas on what we can do?
