Just wanted to make a seperate post incase people don't read thru the comments in the other post. Send me a U2U with the info below before 12/6/11 (Next Tuesday) and I will add you to the list. HOPEFULLY I can get it all organized and get the matches out to people by 12/12/11 and then we can set a send out deadline (12/19/11 probably so there is a slight chance of getting your gift before christmas, not that it fully matters).

(this is where your match info will be sent. I use a program so that I don't even know who you have or who I have / who has me. I have access to the list if need be, but I don't want to look at it unless there is an issue that someone has come up so I can be surprised as well. It is from a generator called Boogspace.com and is the same one I used last year)

I have no problem with shipping international, I know it costs more but it also opens you up to getting some cool foreign items / treats. If you don't want to ship international let me know and I will do my best to match people up that don't want to ship international with eachother, that way we can ALL play along! This only goes for people in the states since most of the other contries only have 1 or 2 people in them that post here.

I an guessing gift price should be about $10-$15, if you can do more, cool. Less, cool as well. I know with this small group here people's intentions are good and not just trying to scam the system.


Feel free to add more "LIKES" here, Shirt Sizes would be very helpful as well if you did not post it in your original like list so please post em' up here (unless you HATE t shirts... )

Ahead of schedule, matchups have been sent via email and U2U. When you get the message, I listed all the SS participants info so your matchup will be at pretty much the bottom of the email labeled as

"XnMeX buys a present for : MEMBER NAME"

So, just get the name of who ya got and then find their info above to start thinking about their gift.

Good idea, just post up some extra LIKES if you want in case you want to give your SS more options. Adding shirts sizes is a good idea so I will add that to the OG post.

Same here, though I may still make the deadline. I am sure people here won't be too pissed about a delay but I know if mines not out in time I will just post up here to say it will be late, not that the person will know I have them...

beer thru customs, can be done, i've never done it. just as long as its labelled collectable glassware or yeast samples or something. Or atleast that's what i heard. I know Brian has done it a couple times.

So, I'm a bit drunk, but here's my guess...

BD loved the gifts but seemed a little unhappy with the watch. Sentrand got the wrong impression. BD reacting against Reaper Records (on the watch) for some reason but hinting towards a future Sheer Terror full length.

Confusion ensues, but all are happy in the end? BD likes Sentrand's gift. Sheer Terror the newest unannounced Thorp signing. Future album by ST on Thorp. Reaper understands since they only do 7"s (no idea if this is true).

Shit, if my drunk ass is right, the only thing missing is the announcement that New Republic is printing the new official Thorp Sheer Terror merch.

But I'm probably wrong.

Typing this makes me wish I still had a DVD copy of Beaten by the fists of... because I kinda want to watch it again now.

Furly was my SS and she made me a sweet Mario warp pipe scarve! (And yes, I knew it was a warp pipe before readin the note). She also got me an Aroma Joe's gift card (my favorite coffee chain / addiction) that I used this morning for the 24oz PB Mocha expresso I am currently enjoying. Thanks soo much!

The thing that looks like a Toxpack button is actually a bottle opener. I love that he got me the Berliner Kindl Weisse because of the Slapshot tour thread.

Tomorrow is at the upper limit if I'm real generous to the post office about being closed for holidays (Dec 24-26, Dec 31, and Jan 1-2 are all holidays here).

I really appreciate the German music. I've heard some bands here and there, but never much in depth... Poebel und Gesocks stuff that Vulture Rock put out and the odd band that ranged from traditional to ultra sketchy (with me rarely knowing where they fell). I had Krawallbrueder going pretty loud in the office the other day and was listening to one of the compilations on New Year's Eve. I'm liking a lot of it. Need to check out Toxpack soon.

Stauder is good and reminds me in an odd way of Yuengling. The tastes are totally different, but they're both very traditional beers that have some kind of stronger taste that you don't get in the standard beer.

The Berliner Weisse is like getting drunk on candy, which is very odd for me. It's an interesting experience - working on it now - but not something I could ever do on a regular basis. At ALC 3.0% Vol, I really do expect this to be the first thing that German kids get drunk on. :) When I read that it was a sour beer, I never thought that meant sour like sour candy.
