Definitely check this out. We watched the first two episodes last night. Really good stuff. The first episode starts out SO strong!
US netflix only has the six episodes from season 1. A second season of four episodes aired this summer and a third season has been scheduled.

yeah man I just noticed they added the 2nd series.
I downloaded them off of a torrent site already.
We really liked the show.
At times, it feels like I am watching a movie.
Some of the filming seems different than what we see here in the states.
Like when someone is shot, you see the shooter, the muzzle blast, and the person getting blown away in the same frame, as opposed to angling.

i was reading a funny article about Idris Elba and the way Stringer Bell (spoiler, but if you havent seen it already! ) died on the wire.
