What crap...When will people learn that just because something is "rare",doesn't mean it's good. Or,worth 850 bucks.

XHonusWagnerX - 1-13-2012 at 08:41 AM

as cool as I think it would be to have a full run of REV stuff I would never pay that much for records that are not that important to me. I rather collect the bands I love then just try to get everything a lable put out.

BDx13 - 1-13-2012 at 09:28 AM

it may be listed that high, but will anyone actually buy it?

I have never been a collector. Just never seemed interesting enough to go through with it. I like to just listen to them digitally now. Pretty boring I know :-)

Sold for $440.00...

clevohardcore - 1-16-2012 at 10:50 AM

That was a huge drop in price, but still not realistic or logical.

Throw it up on ebay. Sure it would fetch a nice chunk of change if this did...

JawnDiablo - 1-17-2012 at 09:58 AM

i Have a bunch of cassettes.
I don't even have a cassette player anymore.
Does anybody still buy them?
I figure just collectors.

joey - 1-17-2012 at 10:54 AM

Cassettes don't go for much.
I recently bought JCHE (starving missile) for a few bucks.
Depending on how much you want, I might buy some off you.

JawnDiablo - 1-17-2012 at 11:07 AM

I don't even know where they are.
In a box stuffed in the back of a closet somewhere.

XHonusWagnerX - 1-17-2012 at 11:28 AM

people are still putting them out, which I think is funny.

I just got the new H2O 'Dont Forget Your Roots' covers album on cassette.
I dont know what its limited to though.

EDIT: Just saw that its available on B9, I got it from the H2O site. Its limited to 500 which is probably high for a cassette release!

I have a bunch of music I made years ago on a bunch of cassettes that i would like to somehow convert to MP3s and store digitally.
first I need a cassette deck, then I need to figure out how to do this.

Discipline - 1-17-2012 at 11:44 AM

I got rid of all of my tapes when I moved a few years ago, along with other assorted things, because I had have less space. Now that I think about it, I should have kept them if only for all of the demo tapes I had from tons of well known bands.

the easiest way is with one of those "All in one" digital music converters. My dad got one for christmas that has a turntable & tape deck and you just play the stuff in real time and it converts it to a harddrive then you move it to your computer.

I'm going to have to find a friend who has one.
I don't need to own one, just need it to rip a few tapes.
