I played with a dog this morning

A little terrier tied out on a long tether with his front gate open, who came running out as I went to my car. Sweet and playful and I'm guessing a bit attention-starved.

Dogs make workday mornings suck so much less (well, except when they are yours and it's time to leave).

Aww, he'll be OK.

Mine had a bad experience in a kennel so I decided he'd never go to one again. I used to make a schedule and have one to many friends and roommates attend to his needs and have sleepovers if I left for a few days. He was always very content when I got back.

i wish one of my roommates wasn't allergic to dogs. I want a bulldog more than anything.

I am going to start looking for houses once I decide if I am going to stay in Albany or not... which depends on some work related shit... once I get a house I am getting another dog. Prolly an American Bulldog.
