I had never heard of them until a co-worker showed me this trailer yesterday. Sounds great, movie looks like a very depressing romp...Colin - 8-9-2012 at 04:15 AM

I watched it last night.
So, dude really smokes a lot of crack huh?
My question, is who is giving him his crack money?
His goofy parents who enabled him the last 40 years?
I'm sorry, but dude's pathetic existence takes away from the band's greatness in this thing.
I really, really like their music, but never knew the story behind it all...damn.
And I have seen some wicked crack heads in my time.
That guy who made the documentary lives in Ridley, PA, which is a couple towns over from me. Turns out I know peeps who know him, for whatever that
is, he looks terribly familiar.Jason the Magnificent - 8-9-2012 at 07:39 AM
Looks like they're playing MDF this year.XHonusWagnerX - 8-9-2012 at 08:12 AM
I watched it last night too and I liked it a lot. There were times where I felt bad for Bobby, but he is just self destructive. Cant help but wonder
how his marriage is doing now that the fame of the movie is over.
His parents definitly enabled him by letting him live there and catering to him, but I bet his money comes from disability or from his minimum fame,
maybe selling records. JawnDiablo - 8-9-2012 at 08:57 AM
I agree Honus.
The way it looked, they should have really made it back in the day if they weren't such dope head goofs.
I downloaded their discography this morning before work.
Gonna check it out when I get home.
I have a certain level of apathy for people who's lives are engulfed by addiction, as it has really effected so many people in my life over the years,
but I think that he might be nuts besides all of that. joey - 8-9-2012 at 12:55 PM
