Is it even worth selling cd's anymore? Seems like more effort than profit.

Depends on what you have.
I mostly start cds at $1 unless they are rare, which several of the ones I put up are.
Metal fans are more prone to buying cds than HC fans I have learned on Ebay. But sometimes I get surprises.
The LIFES BLOOD cd is long oop.

For me the only HC cds that you can sell AND make some profit on are the ones that are 100% not available anymore like the Another Planet cds, Profile Records cds, RoadRacer, Hawker, old Caroline and things like very early REV and very early EVR cds.

But with things like Death Metal, Black Metal and 80's Thrash - you will almost always make some type of profit. Start on the low side, and put relevant things in the headline - that is a must!

Take Roadrunner Records Death Metal releases from 1989 - 1995.
TONS of them are OOP, especially ones that says "RoadRacer", the pre Roadrunner era.

Great sites to look up prices BEFORE you put a cd on Ebay are Amazon.com and Discogs.com.
