Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

I hit motherload

So the past two days I have been clearing out an old radio station that use to be an armory. We are basically throwing everything out, but up on the second floor yesterday I saw lp inserts being thrown out. My one co worker told me "take what you want, everything else is being thrown out". I was like holy shit lets see what we have here right? Next thing I know is I am walking carrying a pile of over 60 lps to the truck. Ranging from Dire Straits, Johnny Cash, Elvis, Jethro Tull, Joe Cocker and etc. I figured when I came in today that there were no more worthwhile records. At the end of today we came across a room where the light didn't work. I get some flashlights and next thing I know I am staring at ROWS upon rows of records. Ranging from Chicago, Johnny Cash again, Beach Boys, Neil Diamond and even some comedy/movie records. I ended up leaving with over 50 records.

Also I have an extra copy of Johnny Cash's "Silver" so if any regular poster in the us or canada wants it I'll be glad to send it out for free.

Also odd findings:

Suicidal Tendencies Heartshaped 7"
Rodney Dangerfield "I don't get no respect" 12" never opened still sealed in plastic.

This led me to these conclusions:
1. Radio stations waste their money.
2. I am even more psyched and I am picking up new speakers for my other record player.
3. Next time I bitch about not getting paid enough

I hate to gloat but you guys are some of the only people I know that listen to records on record players figured you'd see how psyched I was.

that's so great. some of that stuff would probably fetch some nice coin on ebay as well. ...especially the sooundtrack stuff.

Miami Vice, Star Trek 4, Back to the future and a few others.

I was thinking about taking pictures but there are far too many. Maybe just a pile picture.

Unfortunately a lot of the first 60 records some odd records have adhesive stickers with main written on it, schedules, an songs they are permitted to play. Not much value to diehard collectors unless they just care about having the record.

I think I was more into getting them for me though. Picked up some records for my parents as well.

I might be to much of a newbie, but I would take the Johnny Cash LP off your hands.
