I could give two shits about cars. I took our CTO to lunch to meet someone I want him to hire. He said, "Hey dude, I'll drive." He's a really nice guy and I have only known him to have a red VW bug.

This car is fucking sick. Said it is faster off of the line than a Ferrari and it is 100% electric. I was just totally blown away.

Killer fucking car. All glass roof too. Real slick.

a buddy of mine works for them as a mechanic. says they're absolutely amazing from an engineering and design perspective. he texts me all kinds of wild pics from around the shop. haven't managed a ride yet, but i'm working on it!

There's one I see on my way to work every once in a while. Nice looking ride.

I've never even heard of these cars, but the specs listed on their site look pretty impressive as long as they're true.

I see a bunch of them around here. I've walked by their showroom in San Jose but have never stopped in.

Looks like the boss of my old job in Adelaide got an S model too - http://simonhackett.com/2012/09/07/tesla-model-s-whats-in-a-...

He took his roadster cross country a few years ago - http://blog.internode.on.net/category/events/global-green-ch...

More money than sense based on how he paid his staff though, glad I'm gone :)

I'd own a Tesla though, holy shit they're high quality.

I am still really taken by this car. It just was not what I expected I guess. Really cool shit.

The only issue I have with some of the new eco-friendly cars is their size. I'm a big lad and some cars are not designed for my frame.
