I listened to Kings of Crime last night and I'm wondering how I ever thought it was so good back then. Outside of the odd good bit here and there I thought it was fucking terrible. I was out and out laughing at a lot of it. I guess I would chalk it up to youth and stupid amounts of booze making it sound good back in the day.

Love the album, use to listen to this album all of my senior year of high school. I still find it to be good. I can see where your coming from though, there are some albums I listen to now that I can't see why I liked it back then.

The first record (Drugs Money Sex) is great. Like really, really great.
The end of 'Game Over' when the dude from Maximum Penalty comes in gives me chills every time I hear it.

I can't get behind anything else they've done though.
They just seemed to get progressively worse (probably cos they didn't have Mike Dijan writing their riffs anymore).

I also gave that one a spin just recently.
I think Ezec or Danny Diablo or whatever he is calling himself these days has an excellent hardcore throat.
The lyrical content is truly dated to the time it came out, what is it 1996 or 1997?
And I'm not so sure it is meant to be taken all that seriously.

There is a few winners in the mix, but quite a bit of cheese.

There was a lot of cheese in that time period.

Having said that, I find most of it silly.

That covers CD they did has some good tracks on it though , and was produced rather well.

Yes he is. And a solid guy might I add.

KOC is still to this day one fine record. My favourite song they ever did was "City Of Sleaze" from the EP.

I still listen to Kings At Crime, it's an awesome record. Lots of great songs, some that I can skip too. TCOB still my favourite I think.
