New Madball

CR83 - 7-7-2014 at 10:17 PM

I know MM loves it and put my name on that list too. Strong release. Some really great tracks on there.

Discipline - 7-7-2014 at 11:05 PM

Shit, I didn't even know it was out yet. I need to pick up a copy cause I loves me some Madball. It's been too long since I saw them live.

The lyric video....

Love Madball! My favorite band, great album.

Such a good album, best of their career I think.

You can peep an interview we did with Freddy on Action Recon where he talks a bit about the new album.

I have a four year old. She loves watching the Born Strong video while we workout in the home gym. I hear, "Dad, play Candace's song. I'm strong too."

JawnDiablo - 7-10-2014 at 08:25 AM

I just gave a few tracks a listen and it sounds really good.
For whatever reason, they haven't had a record that I was really into since Hold It Down.

This might be the one!

I hope so!

Man it's been years since I saw them live... 2008 at the church in Philly with SOIA might be the last time.

Discipline - 7-10-2014 at 02:10 PM

I just watched the Born Strong and it was weird as hell to see Freddie with long hair. It was under a cap, but it still looked strange to see it flying around behind him.

Jason the Magnificent - 7-13-2014 at 08:07 AM

Finally gave the whole thing a listen. Still isn't better than anything prior to Hold it Down and it's way, way too many songs....after track 5 or 6 its just blurs together.

its my favorite Madball record since Ball of Destruction. Its really a great record!!

MikeFromInhuman - 7-25-2014 at 06:29 PM

Is the cd and vinyl out in the USA?

MattyA - 7-27-2014 at 11:03 AM

They keep posting on facebook that there is a delay with the vinyl. Something with the company making it, they said it will be out in August.

Seriously? So you think this is the second best album they've ever done? Crazy.:puzzled:

barc0debaby - 7-30-2014 at 08:20 PM

Good record, but I gotta agree with Jason, too many songs.

BDx13 - 7-30-2014 at 09:36 PM

their performance at This Is Hardcore was really good. LOTS of energy.

CR83 - 7-30-2014 at 10:47 PM

HOLY SHIT is that good. Good God that looks amazing.

Jason the Magnificent - 7-31-2014 at 12:11 PM

FUCK...the dude from 2:00 to 2:10 in the green shirt...

Discipline - 7-31-2014 at 02:51 PM

It's funny, but if you told the average person you were going to a music festival they would likely imagine thousands and thousands of people in an arena or some massive outdoor setup somewhere.

I've been listening to the album a lot over the last few days and I really wish they were playing a show hear soon. Some of these tunes are meant to be heard live while going off at the front of the stage.

Mark Lind - 8-7-2014 at 12:12 AM

The new album is the best thing they've ever done (in my opinion). How many bands can say that 25 years into their career? Or 20 years since they became a professional band. Everything about this album is awesome.
