Mark Lind - 8-3-2005 at 09:03 AM

Is Neil still playing with BFB?

Is BFB even still a band? Will they ever do anything again... or at least in the forseable future?

crazyfists28 - 8-4-2005 at 05:11 PM

isnt buddha layin' low cuz he just had a baby? somethin' like that?, obviously rob's gonna have to support ramallah for awhile to come....we want it all, more bfb, sinners and saints, ramallah, do it all!!!!

Discipline - 8-4-2005 at 05:30 PM

I emailed Buddha a couple of months ago and he said BFB are definately still a band. They were just taking a break while Rob did the Ramallah thing.

crazyfists28 - 8-4-2005 at 05:50 PM

thats great news...its like a never ending cycle of good tunes...any word on sinners and saints while were at it?

JawnDiablo - 8-4-2005 at 10:20 PM

i give major props to Rob Lind. He has 3 great bands. Doing sinners was a breath of fresh air being i really dug it and it was so different from B4B...Ramallah came out, and blew me away with 15 minutes of aural assault, and the last B4B was so fuckin prfect in every way except it needed like 8 more songs on it....
i remember reading long before serenity came out that they were doing a cover of Sheer Terror's "Here To Stay"...obviously it never happened, and i wonder if it will ever pop up

washed-up fuck - 8-6-2005 at 07:41 AM

the copy going around doesn't have song titles listed - just track 1, track 2, etc. There are 20 tracks total I can tell you that much. I'll give it a good listen tonight and see if I can figure some songtitles out via the lyrics.

Killthehumans - 8-6-2005 at 10:28 PM

Whats great abour ramallah is they got a message. Whats better about ramallah is that there message isnt a popular one right now , but they are spreading anyway.

That's correct, there are of course 3 songtitles that can be found on the internet; "kill a celebrity", "if i die today" and "life goes on". There is an altered version of the songs "Ramallah" and "Al shifa", and there's a kick-ass cover of the Beatles' "A day in the life".

Monkey_Julius_BoWaffle - 8-7-2005 at 06:28 AM

yep - that Beatles cover is friggin' GREAT.........I like Ramallah and Al-Shifa better on the EP though. I do like how Al-Shifa has now become "Shock and Awe".......I can see why Rob put those tracks on the album, but they don't match the EP versions as far as I'm concerned.

I've heard the album at least 10 times or more now, so I'll post a mini-review here later tonight.

Let me just say that if Thorp were charging $50.00 per copy of this album, you're money would be well-spent. This album mixes every band Rob has been with into one - there is lots of Sinners & Saints, lots of BFB and lots of Ramallah EP type stuff. Album of the year, hands down....nothing else I have heard this year so far compares..........

beatles cover?? wow.

can't wait to hear this stuff. i don't have dowloading capabilities on my slow-ass computer, and i'd probably just wait for the album to be out, but...man. the wait is killing me.

JawnDiablo - 8-7-2005 at 09:25 AM
