We're planning on creating a short promotional video for Thorp Records which will include brief introductions to, and interviews with, Thorp staff members. So...
- what would you like to know?
- anything about the label specifically?
- something about a specific staff member or his job?
- perhaps one question you would like to be asked of all of us?

Anything you can think of, let us know, we're open to suggestions.

Brief intro on label's history (why did it started / first signings / ...)
Then a brief flow over the current variety of singnings with some comemnts by some Thorp bands why they chose Thorp
Then a flashy look at a day at thorp - following 1 member during athe variety of thorp jobs: the online store, the forum, packing,...
Then asking the main man what's next in line for Thorp...

what about going through the process of selecting a band for the label, what they look for from a band, and other deciding factors when choosing bands to sign.

maybe that info could also benefit two of our fellow members Gabe & MrBadVibes

For staff interviews, why do you like working for thorp? What drew you there and what keeps you there? What does thorp represent to you? How has thorp evolved since it's beginnings and what do you see for the future of the label?

There should be special, in-depth interviews with all your well known board posters, but to save Thorp the expense of flying around to all the various locations I....I mean WE....I mean THEY are in, youse can just fly us (ME) out to hang in NY for a bit and watch me come up with rants so long you'll have to print 'em out and read 'em on the crapper.

i would definitely like to know what its like to work for a label such as this, its already been written but stuff like the day to day happenings, why you all chose to work there, how are things going with all these recent signings, the inside scoop....and lots of ramallah refrences...

I like the suggestions Brooklyn had.

If Thorp was in competition for a band, what were some of the 'deal' breakers that had the band go with Thorp (IE great distro and a bottle of whiskey). Some bands Thorp wanted to sign but didnt, and glad they didnt (Epitaph almost signed Papa Roach years back).
