looks real nice, reminds me of the artwork on some old school decks, especially h-street stuff .

funny you should mention h-street
the blanks I am working with are from the company that was h-street...
and h-street is coming back this year

thats awesome, I remember my first hensley h-street, ahhhhh memories

BDx13 - 8-29-2005 at 01:59 PM

i had two or three matt hensley king size decks myself.

Voodoobillyman - 8-29-2005 at 02:15 PM

good times eh Duane, I never could get into the sleek new design for decks, I liked meat on my skateboard bones. Toothpicks if you ask me, but they do allow for alot more trickery as it may be. I personally bought a longboard not too long after the new decks crept up and have repeatedly killed myself doing downhills on it, Death Wobbles = Bitch. I never was that good

BDx13 - 8-29-2005 at 03:07 PM

yeah, i loved that board. i had two mike smith liberty's as well - another nice big street board.

i've worn a size 13 since high school, and i hate having my toes hang too far off the edge of a board. 8.5" is as narrow as i can ride. although you're right, fat decks like that are not meant for double kickflips and the like.

Yeah, I love red and black..

really good artwork, kinda reminds me of Mike Mignola with the cross hatching for shade, very smooth.
