I thought CB's closed?

defstarsteve - 9-4-2005 at 11:03 PM

i swear they are my favorite band of all time

cb's lost the lease, but are fighting in court to stay...
so they are still doing shows and live broadcasts are still happening

BDx13 - 9-4-2005 at 11:04 PM

Indeed they were. As was every other band who played (that I saw, anyway). Getting there and unexpectedly seeing N.R.S.V. was a HUGE bonus.

all the bands werew amazing
I wish I lived in nyc sometimes

thedog - 9-5-2005 at 03:42 AM

BDx13 - 9-5-2005 at 08:53 AM

they still haven't announced their new label? geez.

clevohardcore - 9-5-2005 at 10:58 AM

Can you still watch the show? Do tthey save these for later viewing??

BDx13 - 9-5-2005 at 10:59 AM

i think you can pay to access their archive of streams. www.cbgb.com

clevohardcore - 9-5-2005 at 11:08 AM

I would like to see this. It sucks about CB'S I never been to a show their but watched many online. This is one I really have to see. Esp with NRSV.

moron - 9-5-2005 at 01:07 PM

I WAS THERE! Fearless Vampire Killers were incredible! There was even a big fight right in front of me during their set. A bunch of fat dudes smacking each other.

I had never seen NRSV, but I couldnt stop laughing. Good stuff. And it had been over a year since I'd seen Most Precious Blood so it was nice to see them again. They were better than I'd ever seen them.

I really fucking hope CBGBs stays open.

clevohardcore - 9-5-2005 at 02:41 PM

I saw FVK on webstream before and they were great. I wish I would have been their.

Dave - 9-7-2005 at 09:05 AM

I got there late (9pm), so i ended up catching two songs from FVK, which were awesome, and then SOIA, my first time there, loved it, fuck CB's is way smaller than i thought it was going to be, and narrow.
