School is wierd. I'm thankfully not the oldest in my class, which is kind of a pre-law course, but some of the kids in my class and in the hallways look like 14 years old. I can't believe it. Some girl in my class asked me what high school was like back in the mid 80's. I told her that I was only 28 and wouldn't know. She was confused so I just walked away.

I'm no genius but some people are really fucking stupid. I had somebody ask me where I got my coffee. I was still standing at the counter of the coffee shop, but this goof was dead serious. Retard!!!!!

Going back to school after years away from it has to be one of the toughest things to do. I love my 9-5 job, and the thought of having to stay up and read text books and write papers just doesnt sound as appealing as making money and coming home to watch tv. Eventually I'll go back too, but kudos to you! Work hard and stay focused.

the stupidity doesn't surprise me a bit. i work dorm security, i sit at a little desk and check ID cards to make sure the kids coming into the buildings actually live there or register their guests. saturday night you have no idea how many kids walked up to my desk, ignoring the giant "STOP!!! YOU MUST SIGN IN ALL GUESTS" sign in front of them, and asked if they really needed to sign people in. some idiot asked me where ottawa was (and then asked where ontario was) while i was watching a hockey game once. i overheard a brilliant comment last year, "i took a shower and my shower sandals got wet!!!".

There are tons of those fruity bastards, and they all have to look super cool with the collars on their shirt turned up.

Tomorrow is the first day of the last semster of college for me. That's right. I'll be graduating in December. To be honest, I can't fucking wait.
