Never heard of it, although I can't really say I follow French films, so maybe that's not a shock.

gavin - 9-14-2005 at 07:18 PM

me either
im not the biggest fan of the french
BUT this movie rules
so far they interviewed jimmy from sham, the dude from the oppressed, the dude from bad manners, some old head skins from england

its good so far

I'll hafta try and track that shit down. I do have volumes I and II of Oi! The Movie, which has hilarious footage of people like Roy Pearce (4Skins, Last Resort), all of the Cockney Rejects, and a buncha other guys. Roy is the best because he has a really long mullet and a leather vest with no shirt, although the Rejects are awesome as they keep going back to their interview which was done while they sat around drinking. As the movie goes on, the Rejects are getting drunker and drunker and their accents get thicker and thicker until all you can really understand are the bouts of laughter they keep breaking out in.

i saw the guy from bad manners about two years ago in a pub owned by one of my mates in my town centre. busta bloodvessel i think he calls himself. he was doing some of his old stuff with a band of hired musicians. it was pretty cool. my old man was into ska when he was younger.

I prefer this movie for its staunch realism and the superior acting skills of Chuck Connors.
