The Dropkick Murphys have postposed their Japanese tour due to health problems. They made the following announcement via the promoter:
Dropkick Murphys singer Al Barr was hospitalized on Friday with severe stomach pains. After emergency surgery and lots of bed rest his doctor expects
him to make a full recovery. Unfortunately this sudden illness has meant he will not be able to perform in Japan. The Dropkick Murphys tour dates will
be rescheduled once Al has been released from hospital, given a full bill of health and will be well enough to make the long flight from Boston to
Japan. We would like to thank all our fans for their patience and understanding and to assure everyone we expect Al to make a speedy recovery. Japan
is one of our favorite places to tour and we hope to be there again very soon.
The band is still expected to kick off their Boston Invasion Tour with Gang Green, Lost City Angels and Darkbuster later this month.

I just read that on the punknews site. Shitty man. I was hospitalized for severe stomach pain once, I thought it was my appendix but I turned out to
be full of shit...literally.
