Jason the Magnificent - 10-5-2005 at 12:11 PM

Sounds kind of typical, I really got my hopes up when I saw that lineup.

CR83 - 10-5-2005 at 12:24 PM

Fucking Great!

Mark Lind - 10-5-2005 at 07:21 PM

Based on the picture I am terrified of them.

I was really expecting a bit more from some of those guys too. And why is this a six-piece band? Are there two singers?

Jason the Magnificent - 10-6-2005 at 10:43 AM

It sounds like only one, and Jimmy Williams is the singer from MAximum Penalty, one of my favorite singers ever...I was hoping for him to rip through a verse like he did at the end of Game Over by skarhead. I didnt hear him at all. If hes on some other tracks though I'd buy this.

clevohardcore - 10-7-2005 at 12:38 PM

ARE SOME OF YOU FUCKING CRAZY? Thats rad as fuck. How in the hell can some of you think it's just "ok"? I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO GETTING THIS ASAP. thanks THORP for releasing awsome music yet again. What I don't get is how is this a secret that is just dropped on us. How long has signing this band been in the works?
Anyway HUGE props to everyone at THORP and I want to be the first in line or this release.

THORP - 10-7-2005 at 01:25 PM

its been in the works for several months now

you gotta listen to the record in its entirety

remind sof the first time I heard RAW DEAL

tremendous stuff

-THORP

After more repeated listens I like it a little bit better...but does Jimmy Williams sing on any of it? It automatically gets an A+ if he even does one song.

BDx13 - 10-10-2005 at 11:03 AM

since youz were asking for this...

Lineup:
?
1) Rich McLoughlin - guitar
2) Pete Koller - guitar? (tracks 1-5)
3) Jimmy Williams - drums
4) Craig Setari - bass?? (tracks 1-5)
5) Sean O'Brien - bass (tracks 6-10)
6) Thomaso skorupski - vocals

CR83 - 10-12-2005 at 10:41 AM

OK, quick clarification for a Real Dummy (Me). Is Craig Setari the same as Craig Ahead? I can only assume yes?

I always thought they were different.

BDx13 - 10-12-2005 at 10:48 AM

yes, but they lead verry different lives!

shahahahah!
Craig Ahead has hair...
Craig setari is bald...
Thats how you can tell whos who.
And if theres was like an evil brother... Setari would be it.

I like this alot.. its just straight forward, hard as fuck.
As much as i love thorp, its tme they signed a non punkish styled band, and just a straight up in your face HARDCORE band.

CR83 - 10-12-2005 at 04:25 PM

Thanks Guys. Evil Twin huh? Man, I need to get me one of them.

clevohardcore - 10-24-2005 at 02:30 PM

I was just thinking about the release date of this cd. Will keep a look out for it.

Discipline - 10-28-2005 at 01:37 AM

me too

brooklyn - 10-29-2005 at 11:43 AM

still amazed how little noise has been made about this band if ya look at who's in it... and if you heard the promo-cds.... it's just great old style (memories of Maximum Penalty)
