Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

(from txhc.com) Things you've learned over time

- romantic relationships only distract you from your goals. responsibility for someone's emotions is bullshit.

- never allow your friends to be more than aquaintances (sp?) with your girl.

- never allow anything to become "your life", especially anything involving a scene.

- a younger girl is always better than one your own age.

- avoid girls age 21-28

- if your friend pisses you off, never hold it in, cause it will cause resentment and tear apart your friendship.

- "crew" and "friend" have nothing to do with eachother

- people take themselves too goddamn seriously

- hardcore is an excuse to go nowhere with your life

Isnt "Friends" Stand United a Crew?

jason kills - 10-12-2005 at 02:28 PM

it's like this: to me, a friend is someone you have invested time into. memories. good times, bad times. all that shit. people you struggled with. just b/c people share the same letters/numbers/whatever, that deosn't mean that they are your boys. they are just in your "extended network"

Jason, I think you need a hug.

agreed im only 21 but girls and the hardcore thing have let me down many a time. For a while i thought hardcore was all pure and good but after many dissapointments i realized now at least its just music and that you need to work on yourself because that all you ever really have, need train your body and mind.

As much as i love you, and as much as i value your "friendship", this is post is full of shit.
Friends and Family can be your crew, if you decided to hold them in the same respect you expect from them.
Girls?! Bah fuck it, all girls are great... Young, old, theres phycos of all ages.
Hardcore has helped put my life in perspective and got me trough some rough times, unlike religion, ect ect.

The only thing i agree with you is...
"- people take themselves too goddamn seriously"

only talking about what i've experienced. other's have experienced other things, but when you find yourself fucked over by your best bro cause all he wants to do is fuck the woman you love, then you get a little bitter. and then, when you find out teh woman you love fucked aound with ANOTHER one of your best bros, that shit starts to fuck you up. dudes with the same letters, dudes you have bled for and fought for. that shit fucks you up, gabe. and when that shit happens, and you turn to dudes that you thought were there for you, but aren't, it makes you a little fucking bitter.

i don;t know. i'm fucking drunk and some fucking piece of shit drug dealer just jacked me for some cash. fuck it. fuck this life.

Terror Aesthetic - 10-14-2005 at 12:01 AM

what have i learned over time... shit.

alcohol stops being fun about the time it starts making you sick

you REALLY cant turn a whore into a housewife

drugs will fuck up any and every friendship

the good really do die young far too often while the assholes stick around forever

9 out of ten your "best bro" will fuck your girl given half a chance

family dont have shit to do with blood

family is not a word to be used lightly

crews are too often full of dumb kids that are too willing to act a fool to impress their elders "no disrespect to the young. i dont mean all of you by any means"

when you smoke four packs a day and youre all fucked up by the time youre about 30 dont whine and "oh why did this happen to me"

dont get addicted to benzos "valium, xanax, clonazepam"

good music and good pussy are two of lifes greatest gifts

people take themselves waaaayyyyyyy too fuckin seriously

i knew everything when i was 15 but when i was 28 i didnt know shit.

Terror Aesthetic - 10-15-2005 at 12:18 AM

a few more....

cherish every moment because life passes by you in the blink of an eye "thats no hallmark shit its the truth"

if youre lucky enough to find it nothing can save whats left of your soul like the love of a good woman..or whatever you prefer

just because someone tld you long ago to solve every problem with your fist doesnt mean that you can. it just means lawyers will love you.

again appreciate every moment because it can end in the next breath.

thats about it.
