Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

new guitarist for AF

brooklyn - 10-17-2005 at 11:59 AM

Agnostic Front has announced that guitarist Joe Porfito has joined the band to replace Lenny Disclafini. Joe's latest 6 string action was in Inhuman.

Lenny only came into AF after the recordings of "Another voice", as in the studio Matt Henderson was the lead guitarist next to Vinnie Stigma. So and now it's already bye-bye Lenny.

He didnt look to be playing much when I saw them last.

dont know much about stigma and his "non playing style" but they always cranked out some really good music .... I got a kick out of roger miret when they came through dallas this year.... he kept saying that if people didnt start dancing harder than they werent going to play anymore.... it was funny

Yeah, he plugs in.

GOLD GRILL - 10-17-2005 at 06:26 PM

that sucks that ol boy isn't playing guitar for them anymore; he's cool as fuck. The band that he sings for, On the Rise, is bad ass.

Killthehumans - 10-17-2005 at 08:08 PM

hopefully this doesnt mean the end of inhuman

moron - 10-17-2005 at 08:35 PM

Inhuman is still playing, and I agree with Gold Grill.... On The Rise is awesome. I was bummed when 3/4 of the band went to play in AF, but now hopefully On The Rise will play out again.

The AF dvd will be out before the end of the year. Fuck yeah! Now if I could only get an update on the Slapshot one.

I know of a video showing AF playing and showing vinnie with a "wireless" taped to his guitar strap. The wireless turned out to be a pack of ciggarettes with some electrical tape around it. You can see it in the video. It also shows behind the cabinets where you can see that the cabinet that Vinnie was "playing through" was actually connected to the head that the other guitar player was using.

Ssshhhhhhh I didn't tell!

upyerbum - 10-19-2005 at 11:44 AM

AF was always about the scene more than the music anyway.

I don't know about the AF dvd release, but I heard what's been shot so far is awesome. The slapshot dvd is still being worked on. There are more interviews to do and stuff then the final edits will start I guess. Maybe its a 22nd anniversary dvd!?

The one coming out in December is the two live shows they filmed at CBGB's a little while back.
