My girl had a fever and a swollen little face all day thanks to a new molar that's working its way in. The frozen teething ring has been rendered
useless. Other than the occasional Baby Orajel and Children's Tylenol, got any suggestions to help a teething kid sleep? Kid's dad is about to go
have a shot or four to help him get some shut-eye tonight!Terror Aesthetic - 10-25-2005 at 06:37 AM

I am totally afraid to go through this with my little girl, she is so fussy as it is right now I can't imagine. I have heard a little rum on the gums,
don't know if it's true or safe, just what I heard.XHonusWagnerX - 10-25-2005 at 07:41 AM

There's this stuff, I think its called Camilla, or something like that. It comes in a white, blue and pink tube. You can find it the health food part
of the supermarket. I wish I could remember the name, but that shit is awesome. I'm not sure what the active ingredient was either, but if you see
something resembling this description get it cuz it works. I will go to the store and find out what its called in the meantime. I feel your pain.RomanticViolence - 10-25-2005 at 11:14 AM

You've got the ice, somthing to numb the gums & tylenol...I think you're doing all that can be done duane.
Maybe a warm bath and a little bit of baby tylenol right before bed might help her sleep better.
I wish i could give you better advice. Gooch - 10-25-2005 at 11:23 AM
I think we used Tylenol and Baby Orajel.
I'm looking forward to going through this again with twins this time....gavin - 10-25-2005 at 01:07 PM
yeah, the baby tylenol is the only thing you can do
ice pops helped us too
how old is your girl again?BDx13 - 10-25-2005 at 01:20 PM
technically she's 18 months, but she's in many ways she's still considered the 'developmental equivalent' of a 15 month old.
the Tylenol seemed to do the trick last night. it took a while to kick in, but once it did she slept for a solid four or five hours. this waking up
every hour is HIGHLY unusual for her - she normally sleeps from 8pm till 7:30am every night.gavin - 10-25-2005 at 01:22 PM
yeah, give her the tylenol about an hour before you want her to go to bed
popsicles worked for us
the kids loved them. there is not all that much sugar in them and it helped with their teethCR83 - 10-25-2005 at 03:05 PM
OUr little one had tough times with her molars (she's 16 months now). What I found to help when it got real bad is the Tylenol and about 10 to 15
minutes later I used my finger to help the tooth break through the gum. It takes about 3 seconds and use your finger tips. As soon as that tooth is
through, problems are imediately solved. It sucks to cause them pain but it is real short and you get immediate results. I have done this three
times now and it saved our asses.clevohardcore - 10-26-2005 at 11:01 AM
Does it bleed alot?BDx13 - 10-26-2005 at 11:24 AM
last night we gave her the tylenol about 30 minutes before she went to sleep and she only woke up one time. fever is 103+ and she's totally
lethargic, though. sucks.CR83 - 10-26-2005 at 02:14 PM

Not at all. It just pokes the tooth through and relieves all fo the pressure and fever will subside.
