Thorp and Sailor's Grave Board

what the fuck

defstarsteve - 10-27-2005 at 02:36 PM

Exxon Mobil Corp. posted a quarterly profit of $9.9 billion Thursday, the largest in U.S. corporate history, as it raked in a bonanza from soaring oil and gas prices.

http://money.cnn.com/2005/10/27/news/fortune500/exxon.reut/i...

I thought there was a shortage, thus a rise in prices, oh no wait we just wanted to fuck everyone over to make our board and shareholders more money

I've had it
Fuck you and fuck your society too

I don't give a shit anymore, no matter how hard I fucking work I can't catch a fucking break and these pricks bring oil up from the fucking ground,
a natural resource,
like air and water
how the fuck do they own it,
they add a little heat and make more money in a single quarter then everyone I have ever met will earn combined in their fucking lifetimes...

fuck it I'm taking a month off, if they want my shit let them come and take it
I'm taking the kids to the beach...

that is complete bullshit!

Someone I work with found a way to make Diesel Fuel at home and suposidly its easy and not dangerous. You take Vegitable oil (it can be used) and combine it with a few things and heat it to a certain temp and thats it.

He said you can get used Vegitable oil from places like McDonalds because they pay to have it taken away already and that the other chemicals you need are really cheap. He figured that it would cost about .50 cents per gallon if it works. Hes supose to try a really small batch this weekend and knows how to test it with out and engine to see if its good enough to work. If it is hes gonna buy a really cheap diesel car and see what happens. Ill keep you posted!

Whenever I get around to moving to the country I plan on trying to get a biodiesel set-up. The tricky part is finding the oil itself, but if you can find it it's usually free, then you just need to filter it. A friend of mine knew someone who ran a diesel and just added oil to the diesel for a 30% mixture. You can run pure biodiesel by adding ethanol/methanol/kerosene or something like that. Since my other project when I move to the country will be setting up a moonshine still, I'd have a cheap supply of additives as well.
Plus, how pimpin' would a vintage mercedes that's smells like french fries be?

defstarsteve - 10-27-2005 at 04:03 PM

okay perspective
these fucks who earned this money did nothing for it.
it comes from the ground....
like water, a natural resource like air..
they add heat to refine it

they profited 9.9 billion in the 3rd quarter, July, August and September
all of the costs, (employee pay to toothpicks for company picnics) had already been paid
9,900,000,000.00
92 total days in the 3rd quarter = $107,608,695.65 per day
24 hours per day = 4,483,695.63 per hour
60 minutes = 74,728.26 per minute
60 seconds= 1245.47 per second
1245.47 per second is made in profit whether they are working, sleeping, fucking, doing whatever...

at minimum wage 5.25 an hour the average person (Exxon gas station employee) makes 210.00 a week before tax for 40 hours of work
that is 840.00 a month to live on, before taxes

at 30.00 an hour a person makes 1200.00 a week
4800.00 a month 62,400 a year
how many people do you know that make kind of money
the average pay of us teachers from 2002-2003 was 45,000 per year
the average police Sergeant (not guy on the beat ) makes $56,997 per year
the average military enlisted is in the mid 40,000 per year

but....
the numbers above are not completely accurate
because there were only 64 working days in the quarter
64 days of work= 154,687,500 per day
8 hours of work= 19,335,937.5 per hour
60 minutes of work per hour = 322,265.63 per minute
60 seconds staring at the clock = 5371.10 per second

in the time it took you to read this, they just bought and sold you like your life was nothing.

There is one alternative right now.................don't buy gas from that company, there are others out there, buying gas sucks in itself, but don't line the pockets of those fat greedy fucks anymore. Besides I firmly believe in life after death, and people like that can bask all they want now becuase the next life will be payback time for thei greedy bullshit.

All the oil come from VERY few sources. So, no matter where you buyt it, it is some greedy, overpircing, overpaid assholes getting the cash.

Oil companies are evil scum

Voodoobillyman - 10-28-2005 at 08:44 AM

true, it's just like politics, picking the lesser of the two evils as it were, pretty dreary when you think about it. Buy a bike and use it to get around if it's feasible, unfortunatley for most it is not.

upyerbum - 10-28-2005 at 12:24 PM

The oil cartels have taken over the U.S. government by the way. I thought some of you Yanks might be interested to know that. I'm not sure what sort of media blackouts you guys are subjected to down there.

Terror Aesthetic - 10-28-2005 at 01:31 PM

none if we dont rely on the television for our news coverage.

XHonusWagnerX - 10-28-2005 at 01:41 PM

The whole thing is pathetic. They raised the price SO HIGH that they actually have people thinking "Whoa! $2.60 for regular, DAMN thats cheap!". Thats why we will never see prices back where they were before this started. About a year and a half ago I got gas at a small place near my house and it was .99 cents a gallon. That was Really cheap at the time because other places were like $1.10-$1.20, but for christ sake...were paying double or tripple that now!

The government is FUCKED! The US Postal System is a NON PROFIT ORGINAZATION... yes... NON PROFIT, yet year after year they make profits in the millions. Ok... well good for them I guess... but if thats the case then why the fuck are stamps going up again in January? They are pricing themselves right out of buisness. Tons of people already use Email, electronic bill pay, dirrect deposit and so on and so on. If you want to send someting at the US POST OFFICE and you want it NEXT DAY. The sign they have hanging IN the post office says that its US POSTAL SERVICE NEXT DAY DELIVERY ... provided by Fed Ex. Even they know that they cant compete so why raise all the fucking prices when they are already making more profit then they are even supose to!

Didn't Thomas Jefferson say "Eternal vigilance against tyranny is the price of freedom?" I believe he was speaking about tyranny of the homegrown variety. I'm reasonably certain that it was not a comment on U.S. foreign policy, since they didn't have one.

Gooch - 10-28-2005 at 02:16 PM

I was very excited that I ONLY paid $2.44/gallon the other day. Sad.
