mac or pc? you could network them with an ethernet cable or a firewire cable.

or make a bunch of zip files and use yousendit.com.

There are options for you...

This MacWorld article breaks 'em down much more clearly than I could:

here's a better explanation of the firewire option. do you have 10.4? if so, it's cake.

Tiger makes it very easy to connect two Macs via a FireWire cable?you don?t even have to use Target Disk Mode. On both computers, go to the Network preference pane, select Network Port Configurations from the Show pop-up menu, and enable the Built-in FireWire option. Next, go to the Sharing preference pane (again, on both computers) and click on the Start button to activate Personal File Sharing.

This is many times faster than using an Ethernet connection to transfer files. There?s only one problem: if you?re already using the FireWire port to connect peripheral FireWire devices, such as an iSight camera, either the peripheral devices or the network connection may not work. The simplest workaround is to disconnect the peripheral devices while using the FireWire network.

i still have 10.2.3, is this still possible?

how many songs do you have? do you have a broadband connection?

are both of your macs on connected to the same router (wireless or wired)? if so, they're both on the same network already, and it's just a matter of enabling the networking features on both machine. I'd suggest going to apple.com/support or google and searching for 'os 10.2 network' or something like that.

if the only reason you have to network these machines is to transfer your music, i'd go back to creating a zip file (or 2 or 3) of your songs and send them to yourself through yousendit.com.
