I saw that tour in Mansfield,MA @ Great Woods aka The Tweeter Center. Me and 2 friends didn't have tickets so we went to the box office the day of the show when they release any left over tickets. We ended up in 3rd row center! We watched biohazard & sepultura then went way up in the back for pantera. I think that was one of the last times I saw pantera & they sucked. It was like the begining of the end to me. Oh well...

I forgot before but I saw this tour called "Operation Rock and Roll". It was Metal Church, Dangerous Toys, Motorhead, Alice Cooper & Judas Priest! That was a day of metal! We also saw on Mtv the next day that Lemmy had fallen right after they got of stage. He slipped on a wet floor, broke a few ribs and they were going to miss a bunch of shows on the tour.

Unrelated to this, I also saw House of Pain and Danny Boy broke his ankle on stage. They continued the tour and Scott Ian from Anthrax filled in. I wish I would have seen one of those shows!

I saw Godflesh at Club Baby Head in Providence in 92 I think? Some where around that. No live drummer but it was awesome! They had just played in Boston the night before and they had some major computer crash and had lost most of the songs. That whole day they rewrote a bunch and the show in Providence was mostly slightly differant versions of the songs.

Ive also seen Metallica, but I dont know if they would make my 'best metal concert' list. They were really good on the Justice tour. Black Album tour was ok, but not as good.

clevohardcore - 11-14-2005 at 10:48 PM

I saw the Napalm death and SOIA show too. I think that was 91 maybe. I never liked Naplam Death but they always played with good bands so they must be cool dudes or whatever.

Six66Mike - 11-15-2005 at 02:13 AM

I'd love to see Motorhead here in December with Motley Crue but I don't have the near $100 to see it.

Saw Biohazard in Thorold Ontario in the late 90s which was an awesome show. The Step Kings played with them, I fucking loved that band.

Saw Cannibal Corpse in the last year or two also, never been a big fan and went to one of their shows in Toronto when they toured with Pissing Razors & Dark Funeral. DF was my favourite band but they never came to Canada cuz if they left the US they wouldn't be allowed back in, they didnt have the right papers and I pissed my pants.

Voodoobillyman - 11-15-2005 at 07:39 AM

Meshuggah is also pretty damn good live.
Sam Black Church were always a good time too.

XHonusWagnerX - 11-15-2005 at 08:21 AM

Carcass is one of the bands I never saw but wish I did. I wonder if they will ever do a reunion tour?
