PAINT THE TOWN RED JOINS THE THORP ROSTER

BDx13 - 11-5-2004 at 03:25 AM

THORP RECORDS is excited to welcome PAINT THE TOWN RED to the roster. PTTR play urgent, passionate hardcore and have been ripping apart the European scene for years. Creating hardcore that gives nods to pioneers like UNBROKEN and TURMOIL while also appealing to fans of REFUSED, HOPE CONSPIRACY, and CONVERGE. Expect "Home Is Where The Hate Is" out on THORP February 15th, 2005, and a U.S. tour to follow.

dustone - You've caught me on a really bad week, so I have to ask... Are you fucking serious?

Here's a quick summary on how one can run a successful business:
1) Create a product
2) Make money selling that product
3) Invest that money in creating more products

Now, if you've got even a slight grasp on that concept, and a remote interest in just one of the 50 cds we've put out, I would have to assume that you, old pal, would be among those we count as caring. Because even if you don't like Paint The Town Red, other people will, and they'll buy the cd. And the money we make from those sales might just be used to invest in the next cd that you do like. Capiche?

To quote the young RomanticViolence, "That is all."

I checked that out, it's a little metal for me, but I actually kinda like it anyway.

Wow, I just checked out the mp3, should be a monster of a cd. It's somewhat funny that this is a board for Thorp, but you rarely see any posts about Thorp bands. The last bunch of releases have all been gold in my opinion. Awesome to see that they even brought out a Canadian band with Bionic. That cd rocks too! I for one definitely can't wait to hear the Paint the Town Red disc. Should stand right beside Gone Without Trace as one of the heaviest bands on the label.

we added one as well - Beauty In Despair. check it.

I can see the Hope Conspiracy comparison. I dig it.
