RomanticViolence - 11-17-2005 at 04:08 PM

How many of you guys had these?.

BDx13 - 11-17-2005 at 04:13 PM

*raises hand*

the Helmet/House Of Pain song was the best song on judgement night.

JawnDiablo - 11-17-2005 at 04:33 PM

funny, i was looking at these on amazon today...i have it on a cassette somewhere.
slayer and ice t doing the 3 exploited songs is awesome

JawnDiablo - 11-17-2005 at 04:34 PM

i have the body cout tape too haha

WINTHESKIN - 11-17-2005 at 04:39 PM

ive got both

defstarsteve - 11-17-2005 at 04:40 PM

had them both
and I really liked Another Body Murdered - Faith No More/Boo-Yaa T.R.I.B.E.

the house of pain/helmet song were like 2 different songs, could have been better

cop killer is still a good song

DAK - 11-17-2005 at 05:00 PM

I agree Big D.

Just another victim

Discipline - 11-17-2005 at 05:08 PM

I got the Body Count cd for free but it was the version without Cop Killer. Never wanted the Judgement Night thing cause I have no interest in the rap/metal shit.

Voodoobillyman - 11-17-2005 at 05:10 PM

I had both, anyone have Slayers Undisputed Attitude? What a cool ass album.

I have it, not bad. But it pissed me off when I read an interview with Kerry King where he said their version of DRI was better then the original. Fuck that shit.

Gooch - 11-17-2005 at 05:18 PM

I loved the Judgement Night soundtrack at the time, but it didn't really age well. I busted it out a few months ago and listened to it with my wife(who actually liked a lot of the songs too), but it didn't sound as cool. A few songs were still OK, but I skipped through most of them.

Cop Killer was the only Body Count song I ever heard. I thought the whole thing was kind of stupid.

Voodoobillyman - 11-17-2005 at 05:18 PM

I can't believe he said that??????? What an absolute shithead. And his head tattoos are shitty to prove what a shithead he is.

JawnDiablo - 11-17-2005 at 07:35 PM

cummon we all know slayer= arrogance
either way undisputed attitude is good stuff
i still dig the slayer

Discipline - 11-17-2005 at 08:14 PM

I love Slayer but they ain't better then DRI.

tireironsaint - 11-17-2005 at 09:24 PM

One of the multitude of reasons I fuckin' despise Slayer is that album right there. Not a single one of those cover songs is played anywhere near as well as the originals. I mean, Slayer is all about the crazy mad guitar skills, right, that's what all those metalheads dig, yeah? So why is it that a bunch of sloppy Punks wrote faster songs and played them better when they were teenagers and shit? Fuck Slayer right in the gaping hole left after slitting their throats.

Body Count was and is cool though. They're on myspace and have a new album coming out soon apparently.

XHonusWagnerX - 11-17-2005 at 10:41 PM

I got Judgment NIght & Body Count w/ Cop Killer. I actually got to see Ice T and Body Count at a really small show at Club Baby Head in Providence way back!

thedog - 11-18-2005 at 03:30 AM

this was a cool cd, some good songs / some bad songs.

what did everybody think of the movie?
i just watched this again a couple weeks ago and thought it was ok.

BDx13 - 11-18-2005 at 03:36 AM

never saw the movie.

XHonusWagnerX - 11-18-2005 at 06:39 AM

I never saw the movie either, but I always heard it sucked. Its weird, almost like the movie doest exist and its just a comp record because usually soundtracks don't have as big an impact on things as this record did.

The faith no more + Boo yah tribe song is great. I like the sir mix a lot + mudhoney track too. And obviously the h.o.p + helmet song. Fuck it.... There just about all good! I have the h.o.p. + helmet song on a clear vinly 12" that's pretty cool.

There's also the songs that were on on the soundtrack but should have been or just didn't make it. Biohazard + onyx and h.o.p + sick of it all. Both great songs also.

Voodoobillyman - 11-18-2005 at 09:15 AM

I liked the movie o.k, it has Dennis Leary who I think is awesome and Everlast played one of his thug buddies, it was alright.

CR83 - 11-18-2005 at 10:54 AM

I LOVE THE BOO-YA TRIBE TRACK. I will always love that.

clevohardcore - 11-18-2005 at 05:29 PM

I never had the tape -cd but a frined did and he was a metalhead. He hated every song cause he was a douchebag and he hated rap simply becasue he liked metal, but he liked ICE t and Bodycount. He used to get mad when BIOHAZARD did the rap shit too.

Anyway I worked at a record store when that that cd-tape came out and it was popular. Alot of people bought it. I never saw saw the movie either.

Voodoobillyman - 11-18-2005 at 06:13 PM

That album was pretty big when it came out, it was right on the cusp of the rapmetal revolution that changed everything in mainstream metal land. It allowed bands like Korn the kind of success they have enjoyed. Anthrax and Public Enemy were still the first to pioneer this "sound" and that song was awesome for it's time.

defstarsteve - 11-18-2005 at 06:58 PM

I saw the movie when it came out
fucking lame....

I saw the antharx/public enemy tour....
the pit was fucking crazy for public enemy

Voodoobillyman - 11-18-2005 at 07:02 PM

So, then if you saw the tour Steve, do you think the song they played together was the first rapmetal tune?

defstarsteve - 11-18-2005 at 07:09 PM

no walk this way was
run dmc and areosmith

but run dmc and all the early hip hop guys always used metal riffs for the breaks

a lot harder sounding then the gay disco ones

now the real question is what was the first rap/metal song that wasn't a cover (colaberation) or a break beat... not that anyone actually cares though

Voodoobillyman - 11-18-2005 at 11:30 PM

BeaSITE bOYS ? i KNOW THAT SSTUPID BUT ITS ALL i GOT

Voodoobillyman - 11-18-2005 at 11:31 PM

and for the record, I knerw the aerosmith song with run dmc came out before the anthrax pe seong , but would nt really consider that a metal rap crossover per say, just my opinion though.

Voodoobillyman - 11-18-2005 at 11:31 PM

soory .....drunkl

Discipline - 11-19-2005 at 03:31 PM

Anthrax-I'm the Man was pretty early on. It was before the PE collaboration.

JawnDiablo - 11-19-2005 at 03:50 PM

anthrax also did a single with UTFO before the im the man thing

Discipline - 11-19-2005 at 04:03 PM

UTFO???
