not sure why they sell it but i def am gonna pick 1 up they also have a portable turntable that you can take anywhere has built in speakers and will even run on 6 d batterys

I see it hooks up to a computer, what makes it better than any other record player, I have the one from Target that looks like the dash of an old Studebaker. They made a compact and regular boom box style disc player with the same design, they are pretty cool.

What makes it better is that you can use it to rip your vinyl to mp3 and either play it in an mp3 player or burn CDs. Very handy for those with collectible vinyl who don't wanna go buy everything on CD just to have a handy copy to play in the car or whatever. I'd really like one of those....

makes a portable one as well. it doesn't have the usb adaptor built in, but it does have its own amp, so you sould run a line dierctly into a computer, AND it plays 78s.
