Hey guys. I just added reviews of the new Ducky Boys, and New Breed discs to my site. I also added interviews with 100 Demons and Hostage Heart. Check it out if you have a sec. http://www.unboundzine.com

The New Breed-Port City Rebels
(Thorp, 2003)

I wasn't expecting to really like this much. I've never been the biggest fan of Celtic influenced punk rock, and The New Breed doesn't do much to change that. These guys are definitely good at what they do, but it's just a bit too much of the same for me. If you've heard the Dropkick Murphy's you've basically heard this band already. It's nothing too bad, but it's definitely nothing new either. If you are really into the style, I'd say check them out. But like I said I'm not a big fan of the style, and probably never will be.
Dude.. i dont think they sound like murphys at all.

and.. where the fuck is the shit about the ducky boys?

i dont think we sound like them either...

I don't think I sound like Michael Graves either but a review is the forum for the reviewer's opinion. The band makes the CD, the listener makes the opinion. haha

That was the old New Breed review, and I don't really think they sound like Dropkick anymore really. The Ducky Boys review is in the newest reviews section. I gave the new disc a more positive review.

I don't know why I hear Michael Graves, but it's defintely meant to be a complement. The disc rocks by the way. But so does pretty much everything Thorp brings out, so it's not much of a surprise!

i take Michael Graves as a huge compliment. The man can sing!

I played Sinners & Saints for my girlfriend the other day and she thought you sounded like Axl Rose. I had to actually break out the cover and show her she was wrong cause she didn't believe me.
